This is the Lutheran church in Helsinki Finland. It is so huge and beautiful. There are a lot of other amazing things around this area. I will take more pictures later. It was too cold outside for the kids and so we couldn't stick around very long.

Never too cold to go out and play

In Finland the weather never stops the parents from letting the kids go out and play. We have been lucky so far with the weather it hasn't snowed much and it has stayed just above freezing throughout the month of December. Funny I thought for sure we would have a white Christmas, but I guess we will see.
We have this playground in the city center where we live that looks like a mini city. They have bikes for the little kids to ride. There is this fake road that they travel through to go take there bikes through the "car wash", the "drive-thru" and also an "atm". Very cute. I love the two seater bike were one kid does all the peddling while the other just sits back and enjoys the view. Ezra used to love having Serenity pull him around, but now Ezra wants to be the driver, but poor guy can't reach the peddles yet so they don't get very far. I put some more photos of our little city center on here as well. One is the supermarket that I seem to go to daily!! Grocery shopping is a major challenge for me here. I never know what to buy. I am getting better, but have a long way to go.

So my little guy has been sick for the last couple weeks with a stuffy nose making it hard for him to breath at night. Steve went to the pharmacy last night to get a bulb syringe to help get the excess boogies out. He came back with this!! I like to call it the "snot bong".

You stick one end up this little ones nose and the other end to your mouth, then you syphon. Don't worry it does not go from their nose to your mouth there is a container in the middle.

I could not stop laughing, so I as unable to do it myself. I have no idea how Steve was able to do it was a straight face. Before you dismiss this little gadget all together. It really works and the little ones don't seem to hate it. In fact Ezra I think loved the fact that it made him snot free.
